In between decennial reaffirmations, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) requires institutions to submit a Fifth-Year Interim Report. According to SACSCOC, the interim review “was developed to respond to the U.S. Department of Education’s requirements [that] (1) accrediting bodies continuously monitor institutions to ensure compliance, and (2) accrediting bodies have a mechanism for reviewing multiple sites initiated since last reaffirmation.” The University’s Fifth-Year Interim Report is due in March 2020.
